Christmas is only 4 months away?!

Can you believe that Christmas is only 4 short months away?? Not sure about you, but we are in a bit of denial and have been finding it really hard to focus on the holidays when it's still 80+ degrees outside. But it's definitely time to dig out your holiday stamps and get started on your holiday cards now so that they don't sneak up on you and leave you unprepared.

We made these quick and simple cards with the super adorable Dasher stamp and some fun glitter. You can never have enough *sparkle*, can you? This set of 8 cards will be available for purchase THIS weekend at Crooked Vine winery in Livermore. Come visit us and drink some wine Sunday and Monday from 12pm-5pm.

Rough around the edges?

Masculine cards are always a challenge for us, what about you? We used a couple of different distressing techniques on the edges of the different layers of this card. We are happy with the way this one turned out, what do you think? This card also has an extra layer added to the inside of the card to make it easier for your Dad to read your note! (The inside layer is also "distressed".) This card will be available as part of some of our Family Celebrations sets.

We thought this card would be perfect for the Harvest Festival! We liked the effect of the glitter on each grape. We used one of our favorite colors, Rich Razzleberry, and kept the card simple. This card comes in a set of 8 identical cards. Of course, we use the word "identical" loosely, as each card is individually handmade, therefore, there may be some slight differences.

This adorable little turkey card would be perfect to bring to whomever is hosting Thanksgiving Day dinner! Baby, Baby, Baby!

Everybody knows someone who's having a baby! How cute are these cards? Perfect to welcome a new addition to any family! These three cards are part of a set that will include 5 other "family" related cards. Happy Holidays...and no, we don't mean Christmas =)

We thought it would be fun to create sets of cards for a few other holidays besides Christmas. This set contains cards for: New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Hanukkah. We're not sure about you, but we always seem to end up at a friend or relative's house on at least one of these holidays and never seemed to have an appropriate hostess gift ready to give. Add a bottle of wine or a little bouquet of flowers to one of these cards and you're ready to go!

Box of Birthdays

This is a sneak peek of one of the items we'll have for sale at Crooked Vine Winery during the Livermore Valley Harvest Festival in September (more details on that event to follow).

This cute little box holds 8 different birthday cards and envelopes perfect for any recipient! Not only are these cards cute, but they are also VERY reasonably priced at $15.00 per set. Most handmade cards resale for $3-4 EACH, and don't even get us started on those expensive (and often overly cheesy) store bought cards!

Bright and Cheery Thank You

Isn't this card bright and cheery? The perfect way to say thank you! We love the look that sponging around the edge gives! Takes a little extra time, but definitely pays off with the results, don't you think? We saw a card with a similar layout on SCS, but can't remember where to give them credit.....let us know if it was you!

Embellished Cars??

So yesterday we headed down to Santa Clara for the Scrapbook Expo. We found some great deals on eyelets, got the cutest brads for some Halloween and Christmas cards, and scored some adorable new embossing folders at incredible prices. We also found a product called "sparkly fluff" that we cannot wait to use. We had a really fun day and got some great ideas from all of the fabulous vendors.

But the most interesting find of the day was actually spotted in the parking garage...





Yes, that is a car - well truck to be exact...and yes it has been stamped and/or stenciled. We had thought we had seen it all, but an embellished car was definitely the topper. While we love to stamp and embellish things, you will not see either of us taking stamps or stencils to our vehicles any time soon...well let's hope not at least =)

Cute by the Inch Mini Note Cards

We used the new Level 2 Hostess Set, Cute By the Inch, from the new 2010-2011 catalog to decorate these little cards and tins. The un-embellished note cards were also purchased off of the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack a few months ago.
